18th century frescoes and the original floors, and has been
furnished with valuable pieces from local antique dealers,
so it has a rare and particulary refined ambience down to
the smallest details. There are beautiful curtains adoming
the large windows that give light to the apartment, and the
walls are hung with antique paintings of the family. The kitchen
and bathroom have modern and functional fittings that have
however been carefully chosen to fit in with the superior
feeling of the rest of the apartment. The hold town centre
of Lucca is by now become the meeting place for all tourists
who appreciate art and the ancient tuscan culture, but at
the same time has retained is tranquillity and is particulary
welcoming. From Lucca you can reach the famous beaches of
Versilia in about twenty minutes by car. |
